The ten series offers a rich and varied framework for working with clients. Rolf Movement Integration takes our work from the "doing" to the "being" aspect of experience. In this class we will explore the foundational concepts of grounding, sequencing and orienting and their place in the Ten Series. You will learn to develop movement cues, plans and outcomes, as well as gaining skill in using your hands and language to develop client homework. You will also develop and anchor your understanding of RMI and its interface with structural work.

When movement practices are created for specific needs and goals clients embrace the practices and find meaning and empowerment in the work.
Our methods for leaning will include: lecture, discussion, demonstrations, explorations, and work with outside clients.
The primary objective for the class is to hone the skills required to do effective and creative movement work.

Patrice Naparstek has her practice in Madison, WI. Her understanding and experience with movement underlies her Rolfing practice and informs her human experience. Patrice has a BS in Dance Movement Therapy; an MFA in Performance and Choreography; is a CMA in Laban Method and has been a Rolfer for 25 years. She is part of the Rolf Movement Faculty and formerly of the University of Wisconsin Dance Program. Her commitment to empowering individuals to find their own path through RMI and Rolfing is the basis of her teaching.
